Using Rooted
the honest way.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Rooted website (rooted.farm) and its services — including online classes, farm workshops, and the harvest box subscription — you agree to these Terms of Use. If you disagree, please don't use our services.

We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify you by email if changes materially affect your rights. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.

2. Our Services

Rooted provides:

• Online and offline organic farming classes and workshops
• A curated weekly organic food subscription (harvest boxes)
• Educational content including blog articles, guides, and videos
• A platform connecting consumers with certified organic farmers

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service with reasonable notice.

3. Classes & Bookings

When you book a class, you receive a licence to attend that specific session. Recordings shared after live sessions are for personal use only — not for redistribution or resale.

Refund policy:

• Full refund if cancelled 7+ days before class start
• 50% refund if cancelled 3–6 days before start
• No refund within 48 hours, but your booking is transferable to another person
• Farm workshops are non-refundable but transferable
• Free classes: no payment, no refund needed

If we cancel a class, you receive a full refund plus priority booking for the rescheduled session.

4. Content & Intellectual Property

All content on this website — text, images, videos, course materials — is owned by Rooted or our licensed partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

You're welcome to share links to our content and quote short excerpts with proper attribution.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Share class access links or recordings with non-enrolled individuals
• Use our platform to spam, harass, or mislead other users
• Attempt to access accounts or systems you don't own
• Misrepresent yourself as a Rooted instructor or employee

6. Limitation of Liability

Rooted provides educational content in good faith. We are not liable for farming outcomes resulting from applying our teachings — farming involves many variables outside our control.

Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Karnataka, India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru.
